We welcome everyone to our house. We have parking close for those with mobility needs. However, the driveway is rough and the garden involves walking on non-accessible paths & steps. The house is two stories, with the second level only accessible by stairs.
-
There is some parking on-site which we like to keep for people with accessibility needs. We request that you park on Shackleford Road, and come in the Stable Lodge Entrance.
-
Children are most welcome. Sadly, the house and property are not built for pushchairs, so you will need to have some mobility. The garden is 21 acres, so there is quite a bit of walking over rough ground, water features & steps. All children under 16 need to be supervised by an adult & are fully your responsibility.
-
As much as we would love to welcome your beloved pets, there is a lot of wildlife on our property, so for their safety and comfort, please leave your dogs at home.
-
We usually take 1 to 1.5 hours to tour each of the house and garden, so expect your visit to be 3 hours. We can only take 20 people through the house at a time, so larger groups may be divided into 2, half starting with the house, the other half starting with the garden.
-
We have a guest bathroom downstairs for your comfort. We request that you do not use any of the other bathrooms in the house. Remember, this is our home.

Norney Grange was built in 1895 by C.F.A. Voysey and is a stunning example of Arts and Crafts architecture. Read the full history here

The house tours will proceed if the weather is terrible. We will split the group into two and start at different ends of the house. We will run garden tours even if there is light rain. Bring your raincoat, umbrella, and boots.
-
At this stage we are not set up for food and drinks. You are welcome to bring any snacks you might need with you, but we request no food or drinks in the house.
-
As a general rule, we are happy for you to take photos in the garden & in the hall entrance of the house. As this is our home, we request you do not take photos inside to respect our privacy.
